All dishes were great. Service was excellent and staff so friendly. So nice to sit outside on a warm summer's evening.

The Beef Rendang and the Pork Belly were the highlights.

Bubur Cha Cha

Creamy Mango Sago

The pork was the most liked dish. Lovely flavour, so tender and included tiny little boiled eggs as a surprise ingredient.

The bean curd was lovely cubes of bean curd in a delicious sauce.

The dry chilli beef was a lovely flavour, but was dried up to a crisp.

The burbu cha cha was a classic combination of all sorts of bits of dried fruit rehydrated, bits of tarot cake etc. Interesting enough, but overwhelmingly filling for one person. Chose it to be served cold, but it may have been better hot.

The creamy mango sago was the highlight of the night. Wonderful mango puree with sago and fresh fruit added, served cold as intended. Gloriously refreshing after the main courses.

Overall, a very enjoyable evening.

Five spice and spicy salt tempura prawns.

Stir fry lamb with mint mixing and Asian greens.

Mango jelly ice cream and raspberries.

All dishes were really good.

Twice cooked soy braised pork belly & bap

Xinjian cumin lamb and grilled flatbread 

Black pepper fillet beef with crisp potato

Peking duck breast pancakes with shallot & cucumber

Steamed John Dory fillet with ginger and soy

Passionfruit custard steam bun

Fried ice cream sticky date vanilla ice cream and red bean caramel.

All the food was really good. The John Dory was especially impressive.

Ravioli, Veal Papardelle, Risotto, Focaccia, Bombetta Pugliese Pork Loin, Carne Giorno Wagyu Beef.

Vanilla and Fig Gelato, Apple Torte and Vanilla Gelato.

Jim's birthday and given it was Italian and we didn't have pizzas, we didn't share.  Karen didn't come as it was raining and thundering so Bella was not at her best (of course Chopper and Truffles just dealt with it).

We had Steven look after us and he was very chatty and friendly and kept us up to date with what was happening.  Fortunately we were in the back room which wasn't as noisy as the main part of the restaurant which was wow, really vibrating when we walked through on our way out.

The food was good standard Italian grub, no complaints, everyone enjoyed their choices.

Comments:

Newly renovated. Friendly service. Well-spaced tables. Not noisy.

Servings were very generously sized.

The red duck curry is a winner but the chicken wings are definite competitor 

A wonderful, friendly, family run restaurant.

Genuine, attentive service.

All the dishes were superb.
