The vegetarian spring rolls were very ordinary.

The chicken biriani was a Thai version of the typically spicy Indian dish. This one was just fried chicken on top of coloured rice and a couple of sauces to add a bit of flavour. Bland and boring.

All the rest of the dishes were superb.

Sticky rIce with mango for dessert, all round.

Everyone said that had a really enjoyable meal.

Mustang Nepal restaurant at Farrer - 26 November 2025

A friend recommended that we try Nepali Chow Mein. It wasn't on the menu, but they made it for us. It was great, as were the entrees and other mains.

The kulfi and kheer for dessert were also a very nice ending to the meal.

Great food and lovely friendly service. A most enjoyable evening.

A nice change to go somewhere different, with a bunch of all new dishes.

All the entrees and mains were really great, except for the cauliflower, which was boring and bland.

The baklava dessert with green fairy floss on top was spectacular.

A great combination of dishes for the main courses. The tofu was far and away the most popular dish - it vanished quickly. All the rest were really good as well.

There was a variety of desserts, all very good and well presented.
