The spring rolls and the squid were lovely and hot and crispy. Each had an accompanying dipping sauce. The ginger sauce for the squid went beautifully with it.
The slow cooked beef was very nice and had a flavour of pho to it.
The chicken and the pork looked exactly the same as each other. The chicken would have been much better with fresh mint on it. The pork had a lovely flavour from the lemon grass.
The prawns were far and away the highlight of the meal. Beautifully textured prawns, wonderfully sweet sauce with a little bit of heat and a perfect level of fish sauce to offset the sweetness.
Dessert was deep fried ice cream and banana fritters and ice cream. An excellent conclusion to the meal.
