Present: John, Jim, Megan and Ron
For entree we had crisp duck pancakes, a standard with us. It got the official thumbs up, the skin was nice and crispy.
Mains:
Sizzling pepper lamb with snow peas: (sorry the photo disappeared somehow). It was not sizzling but that didn't worry Jim. The lamb was nice and tender and the pepper gave it a nice kick. It got a bit congealed as the evening went on though.
Salt and pepper eggplant: Thumbs up again, really nice
Dry chilli beef. We keep warning Ron not to eat the chillis and he ignores us and goes ahead and regrets it. I really liked it, the others didn't so much.
Blachan boneless chicken, deep fried with a tender flavour, a lovely slightly salty surprise. We loved it.
No room for dessert.
The restaurant was nice and quiet no noise problems. Lots of takeaway seem to be happening, parking nearby was easy so this might become one of our standards.
