Ravioli, Veal Papardelle, Risotto, Focaccia, Bombetta Pugliese Pork Loin, Carne Giorno Wagyu Beef.

Vanilla and Fig Gelato, Apple Torte and Vanilla Gelato.

Jim's birthday and given it was Italian and we didn't have pizzas, we didn't share.  Karen didn't come as it was raining and thundering so Bella was not at her best (of course Chopper and Truffles just dealt with it).

We had Steven look after us and he was very chatty and friendly and kept us up to date with what was happening.  Fortunately we were in the back room which wasn't as noisy as the main part of the restaurant which was wow, really vibrating when we walked through on our way out.

The food was good standard Italian grub, no complaints, everyone enjoyed their choices.

Red Duck Curry (delicious)

Nam Tok Beef – Scotch Fillet/Thai Beef Salad

 

Accompaniments:

Coconut rice

Jasmine tea

 

Desserts:

Pandan waffles with coconut ice-cream

Black sticky rice with mango and coconut ice-cream

 

Comments:

Newly renovated. Friendly service. Well-spaced tables. Not noisy.

Servings were very generously sized.

The red duck curry is a winner but the chicken wings are definite competitor 

A wonderful, friendly, family run restaurant.

Genuine, attentive service.

All the dishes were superb.

All the dishes were great. The duck and the fish were the best.

Both desserts were really good.

We made sure that all the dishes we had tonight were different from the ones we had last time.

They were all very good, especially the kheer dessert at the end.

Ah, Portia's and poli watching.  We only saw one that night, inconsequential. 

But the food was up to Portia's standard, including the duck pancakes (a must).  Unfortunately no-one wanted to drink Jim's wine, it was too old.
