Trough according to Ambrosia

We are a group of Canberrans who have been eating out together for more than 20 years at mainly Asian restaurants, sometimes more upmarket places. The retirees amongst us also have a regular morning coffee group. This blog is primarily a record of where we went, what we ate and what we liked and didn't like. It's not intended to be an extensive and insightful review of each restaurant and each dish, hence comments are often limited to expressions such as "yum", which says it all for us.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. We all particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet in the restaurant.

All the food was really good, except the eggplant surprise, which was boring.

The noise level was really high, plus extra from the music. But it was still an enjoyable evening.

Kinn Thai Civic 2 October 2024

Bit out of the box this one because it was in Civic and we hardly ever do Civic but Ron insisted. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all the courses. The service was excellent. The restaurant was incredibly noisy from people talking, but it did not detract from our evening.
