Trough according to Ambrosia

We are a group of Canberrans who have been eating out together for more than 20 years at mainly Asian restaurants, sometimes more upmarket places. The retirees amongst us also have a regular morning coffee group. This blog is primarily a record of where we went, what we ate and what we liked and didn't like. It's not intended to be an extensive and insightful review of each restaurant and each dish, hence comments are often limited to expressions such as "yum", which says it all for us.

A bit of a change since it was Thai Urban some time ago

All the dishes were really good, large servings. We had a really good evening.

Strange kind of place, big windows, rather cold being winter. One waiter was really busy, the other one was concentrating on her phone. There was only one other table there, so noise was not an issue, hooray.

A really welcoming, quiet and comfortable venue. A truly enjoyable repast, with truffles featuring in every course. It worked well. Our own private room, own private waiter, no loud music. And no snails. Perfect.
