A bit of a bizarre evening. It started with them not having our booking because they hadn't looked at their phone (Ron had apparently got through to their Civic restaurant when he booked and they only send the bookings via text or something). Anyway, the four of us sat down and tried to work out what to order. It was a bit random, we ordered the barbeque stuff but were told it wouldn't be enough and to order some entrees as well which we did. But the bbq stuff came first and when we queried this we were told that whatever is ready first gets served first. Whatever.
Anyway, they gave us some highly fattening fried chicken in a sweet sauce as a complimentary something while we were waiting, which like all fried and sweet food was very yummy. And also some very hot and fried eggplant which we didn't order came out but they gave it to us anyway.
The rest of the meal went without incident (except the gas bottle ran out and we had to remind him to give us the replacement) and was quite fabulous. We did not need to extra dishes, which were a kind of cheesy corn dish, fried squid and korean vegetable pancake. These were all particularly delicious but kind of strange with the bbq. And apparently we were supposed to order some lettuce with the bbq which we were not told but got eventually...
The bbq was great, we had intercostal, pork belly and lamb and all were absolutely delicious, done to charcoal but who cares. Worth going back to for the food and the entertainment value.
No dessert except icecream and chocolate sprinkles which we passed on especially since it was 9pm and we were the last people there.
Recommended, but maybe could be noisy if there were a lot of people there.
