Always very reliable here, which is why it was crowded when we arrived. Plus noisy but by the time we finished we were the last ones there so not so bad.
The duck pancakes were disappointing, basically minced duck with no crisp skin, no veges and the pancakes fell apart. Remind us not to order them next time.
The beef and scallop hot pot got the thumbs up. There was some discussion/disagreement about the tenderness of the beef as it had been tenderised with bicarb. Still nice though.
Salt and pepper crab perfect.
Prawns and broccoli nice and plain, a contrast to the rich food.
Eggplant was lovely, a great flavour.
Pork dish was oh yeah, lovely.
We thought to kick on at Goodberry's but when we got there it was crowded with young people so we gave up.
